What is AIM?

The Accelerative Integrated Method (AIM) is anguage learning theory that uses gestures, music, dance and theater to help students learn a second language developed by Wendy Maxwell. This year I will be using AIM in all K-6 classes. For K-3 grade levels, the method will be adapted to coincide with last year's Calico curriculum. The 4-6 grade levels will be fully immersed in AIM as we discover the story of Marco el Mago. In classes, students should expect to speak in Spanish and gesture. Our goal this year is to get them speaking in the target language while having fun!
